How long will it take me to earn my diploma?
The length of time needed to earn your diploma depends on the number of courses you need to take and the number of courses you take each semester.

How will I know what classes I need?
You will meet with a counselor who will review your high school transcript and develop a graduation plan and class schedule.

Do courses taken at other high schools transfer to Groves?
If you have credit awarded at a previous high school, some may transfer as required credits, while others may be counted as electives.  Some may not transfer.

How much does each course cost?
We do not charge by the course.  The cost is $40 per semester for Delaware students, whether you take one or more courses.

My work schedule changes on a regular basis so I can't take courses that meet the same night each week.  Is there some way I can take a course and make up the classes I miss?
Attendance in all James H. Groves courses is required, but your work situation is perfectly suited to the Diploma-At-A-Distance program.  Students in that program take courses over the Internet at times that are convenient for them.
